Why does re-delegation matter? It actually doesn’t matter if the total voting power of a DPoS network is adequately divided among several validators. In contrast, the problem surges if most of the voting power settles around a few. Considering our Cosmos SDK and Tendermint’s consensus, we’ve been eager more than ever since the number of transactions and dApps based on Oraichain Mainnet started to increase significantly. This is what many DPoS chains are struggling to tackle and we are also in alignment with that. What about Re-delegation Campaign? Here’re two points of news we’ve taken into account: The v0.41.0 Upgrade will reach its readiness on Nov 16, and the Re-delegation Campaign may last not only during the upgrade arrival but months (or even longer) — sure, it’s not something to complete in the short term. We’re happy to see greater awareness of our community in regard to decentralization and feel thankful for that! So, what if we have the Re-delegation Campaign? — ETA: Start from the launch of v0.41.0 Upgrade — Monthly prize pool of 200 ORAI: 10 lucky re-delegation transactions per month (each will receive 20 ORAI), chosen fairly by fully on-chain Oraichain VRF. — Requirements: + Make a redelegation of at least 100 ORAI + Not limited on how many transactions you can make. If you have two or more lucky transactions, you’ll receive the combined prize. Keep some important notes about the redelegation cooldown: — You will be able to redelegate using the same wallet to the same validator 7 times in a row (7 is configured in the network, and can be changed via voting); — Each re-delegation will put you in a 14-day cooldown and you’ll be able to redelegate again from that validator after 14 days of the first redelegation transaction.
